Oil filter question...
I have a 2005 2.3l and I dont like the filter setup (cannister/element deal). Has anyone changed this to a spin on or remote mount?
I am leaning toward the remote mount, but am not opposed to the spin on.

the canister isn't too bad, though despite their efforts it is still tooo easy to make a mess. Do a search on the forum, i'm sure someone did this already.

My man....
Thanx bro
I dont like the OEM setup at all myself. I seen a kit on another web store just like the one you showed me except it was $75. You just saved me dude.
I still dont know this car very good, only had it about 6 months but I really like it.
However, before long I will know it like my RX7, iniside & out.
Any suggestions on getting a copy of a FACTORY MANUAL ?
Owe ya one

There's a factory manual on the same website, finishlineperformance.com. I got one and it's been great after I got a 3-ring folder to hold it - it comes as paper only. I got the electrical schematic as well, if you'll be working on this a lot they both come in handy.
Hm, and I had an RX7 previously too - two GSL-SE's, good starter car.
