RPM to high?
Hey There Guys,
I am new here and hope this is not violating any rules or anything...so I apologize in advance if it does.
My questions about my 09 Mazda3 Hatchback Manual. I feel like around 60 miles per hour my rpm is too high (just under 3000rpm). I wanted to know....what is you rpm around 60...65....70 mph?
Also is their away to fix this if it isnt normal???
Thanks

Hey hows it going
last time i posted my car was stock
i just put in a new cold air intake of ebay (Its worth it!) with a K&N air filter
and had my old muffler cut off and put pipping in, and added a new exhaust at the tip(Rice burner sytyle XD) 4" tip exhaust
to my suprise i've noticed my rpm level has changed
my 2.0 automatic mazda3 runs 80mph are 3,000 rpm instead of 70
i highly recommend at least adding a cold air intake for a little more horsepower and more joyful ride
i know i do
also, the mazda3 with a fart can on it actually doesnt sound that ricer, my friend that races his mustang gt 5.0 said it sounds really good and deep, unlike honda civics or any other
so its also recommended
