Talking tiptronic upgrade?

I own a 2006 Mazda 3 with the tiptronic transmission and i frequently use the "manuel mode" and it seems to me that i want to start upgrading my 3 maybe add an exhaust, intake, wheels, maybe a spoiler but i have a problem with the tiptronics....i find it too slow to suit me....im starting to get into the whole idea of racing and i kno what ur thinking....why does he have the automatic version? well because i bought the car off my dad and he cant seem to drive stick so he got the automatic version. but any whoooo i would like to some how make the tiptronic shifting faster but i have heard that you can buy shift kits to upgrade it but u have to program the hp and alterations done to the trans into the electronic system. does anyone have any easier ways of how this could be done? i was hoping there might be a kit of some sort already out for this kind of thing but i may be wrong.

A company called Lentech makes an upgraded valve body for the 4-speed automatics (04-05 Mazda 3's and most Focus's). I'm not sure if they have anything for the 5-speed like you have. You'd have to give them a call.
