Weird non crank problem
Mazda 3 2.0l.....have an issue of the car not cranking. It doesnt do it all the time. Battery is good and when the key is turned to the crank position nothing happens. Lights dont dim, no regular "bad starter" noises, just nothing. Turn the key back and forth a few times and it finally will crank and start. Is this an ignition switch issue? Anti theft? Not sure where too look first with this. Thanks for any help with this.

Try playing with the clutch next time it does that. Maybe it's the clutch switch?
Under the clutch pedal are two buttons that get pushed when you step on the clutch. One (the white one) is a safety switch so you don't accidentally start the car in gear without the clutch in. It sometimes sticks and the car won't crank. The other one is for your cruise control.
Look under your clutch pedal and see if anything seems out of place.
