Cool Cold Air Intake for the Mazda 5

Anyone have any experience on the best cold air intake for the Mazda 5? Low to mid torque and then high-end hp are the priorities. Proper fitment is also important. K&N, Fujita and Mazdaspeed all make specific units for the Mazda 5. AEM's Mazda 3 unit seems to have the best dyno resuts with very good low to mid torgue but I don't know if this will fit the 5. The engine position relative to the air box and battery are slightly different. The Mazdaapeed unit looks alot like the AEM.

The Mazdaspeed IS an AEM.

How about a Simota for $95 shipped--yes, to Canada. Ask the guys on bcmazdaforums, they've been really good customers. Sold a bunch to 3 owners.

Here's a link to pics and info:

But you can deal with me here, my pics are just too big for this forum's requirements.

cai for mazda5

Do i need to take the bumper off to install the Simota CAI? (or any other cai for that matter). Do you still have any CAI's instock? It looked like you were sold out on your other threads/posts.
Also, do you have any exhaust kits for Mazda5's, ie headers, and cat back's etc.?

The headers and intakes should fit without any problem, but I haven't had any 5 owners volunteer as a test-fitter.
You are welcome to do so with my personal guarantee that if it doesn't fit you'll get your money back.
I have the header in stock, the intakes are on order and won't be here till late April.

The Premacy and the 5 are not really all that much the same. The FS-ZE engine is not used in the 5 and there are many other differences as well.
However, Thunder does make a header for it; it's very popular in Asia.

I don't carry them though. The only way I can get you one is by special order--next time I do a Group buy, or place an order with Thunder I will keep you in mind.
