1992 Mazda Protege w/GTX & HALTECH
Hey guys, I may be abandoning my protege project here soon and picking up a 99 miata. I haven't made the decision yet, but I'm seriously considering it so I thought I better start looking for a buyer now:
If anyone is interested, I will provide picks of everything on the pro.
Red 1992 Mazda Protege, DX Shell
-- 5 Speed, no power anything
-- 170K Miles on shell, "less than 60k" on engine (quote BLT)
-- Body with new paint, but recent collision. The damage is minor to the frontermost part of the driver door and adjacent quarterpaenl). I can have the collision damage repaired if requested (it was covered by insurance). Also, the trunk is partly primered in preperation for another paint job. Trunk has shaved lock cylinder. Hood has small rust spot, but no missing metal.
-- new tires
- Flyin' Miata RRFPR
- TurboXS Boost Controller
- Autometer Boost Guage (sport compact)
- Walbro 300lph fuel pump
- GTX Engine w/turbo from BLT. Engine has NOT been used since it's purchase as the swap is still in progress. The plumbing from the turbo to the FMIC to the air intake must be completed by the purchaser. The engine IS already installed on a SOHC tranny with upgraded clutch from previous engine. I recommend switching to a DOHC tranny before turning up the boost.
- Haltech E6k EMS. Haltech wiring will be completed for the purchaser, however it will need to be tuned before use. I can tune it for driveability if requested. Haltech includes Coolant Sensor, 3bar MAP sensor, air intake temperature sensor, and throttle position senors. I planned to use the stock O2 sensor, so you'll need to purchase one if you do not want to use the stock sensor.
- Custom 15" Subwoofer enclosure. Side panels are not completed. I can complete these before pickup for an extra cost, but they should not be hard to complete by anyone who's done fiberglass work before.
$3300
Add-on:
Starion FMIC: $100

I may be willing to let the ECU go for 1grand, but only if I can't find a buyer for the whole package.
I'll take some pics tonight-- gotta find my camera charger, lost it If i can't find it I'll use the video camera and make short clips.
