You're trading in 156 horses for only 2.

Interested, anyway you could get this car to Mass? I am only interested if the car is perfect. If we come to an agreement and you could deliver the car I could have a cashiers check drawn up made out to you or your financial institution. You take your plates back with a Bill of Sale pay off the car and overnight the title to me once all funds have cleared of course.

Thanks
Rob

no way in hell would the car leave her possession before the check clears. Not going to happen. It takes days for a check to clear the bank and in that time you could be long gone.

Bad move.

All well in good, I fully understand your concern for the seller.

Treasury checks are like cash my Credit Union has even told me you can't put a stop payment on them, it also takes time for titles to become available so she would have the money and what would I have? Just a Bill of Sale with no car. I have lived here since 1989, our house is paid for I am 47 years old DINK, which stands for dual income no kids. If she wanted cash I could do that. Just throwing it out there. Don't assume all people are crooks, even though in this world it appears that way.

I heard back from my sister (via e-mail) and she said she's really excited about the car, even though it means she'll finally be forced to learn to drive stick.. niice. I'll let you know.. dunno what she'll do though, since she works a billion hours a week and would have to sell her 02 Maxima to buy your car

NEELIX, I'm not assuming you're a crook...I'm just warning the seller about the NUMEROUS scams we see on here where people offer to buy cars with checks and then disappear.

I myself have bought numerous vehicles with checks from my credit union and not had any problems but when you come on a forum with no posts and offer to buy a car with a check and are willing to take the car while she waits for the title it just looks fishy.

I personally hope you buy it and enjoy it so you'll stick around the forum.

I have been a member of the SR20deforum for years, if you have any doubts check my feedback there. One member purchased a car from me and drove all the way from Michigan to pick it up just from pictures! My user name is focus, ask user name coach anything you want. He knows I am a decent guy. A Doctor from NC also purchased my last car a mint 93 NX2000 sight unseen how's that for trust? Yeah I am 47 going on 27 still have a love for small sporty cars.

small cars are ftw, that's why. I don't ever want a large car (ok I wouldn't say no to a bentley arnage T even though it's a pile of crap.. but it's a ridiculously powerful and large pile of crap that I could sell and buy a bunch of small cars with the money)

Not a problem at all, talking about scams, there is one sitting in my driveway at the moment, had to threaten to sue. Go to eBay and look at the 07 Civic SI I bought, he is refunding my money but what a pain in the a**. My user name is ser-man.
