i'm looking for a transmission for a 99 mazda protege. 1.6L dohc motor with auto setup. my tranny is starting to give on me as i pretty much lost 3rd gear a couple of days ago. if anyone has information on where i can get the hook up on a new/used tranny, i will greatly appreciate it.

 

what do you mean "you lost 3rd gear"?? is your tranmission slipping? popping out of gear? does it do it under a hard load, light cruising? what?? If we had details we could probably diagnose your problem and save you a lot of money.

Have you kept up with the proper tranmission maintaince including fluid AND filter changes every 30K miles?
