Well.. this'll just be like a preliminary meet.. there could be a meet sometime again before it starts snowing up in CT or whatever.. I just want to get something going soon to get some excitement and have some photo taking opportunities and such.. so I think Sun, Sept. 1st will be ok for a first meet.. I wouldn't suggest going out of your way for this first meet..

for most people in CT this will only be like 50-75 miles away max.. even some people in the Bronx NY and Mt. Vernon NY area so I mean this is a good central location and if we're lucky we might get some summer weather while we're at it...

Unfortunately I won;t be able to make it either day that weekend but please keep me in the loop of things so that I can see pics if someone wouldn't mind and I would also be interested, as I have said earlier, in forming another meet sometime before winter sets in down here in CT.

IM not going outa my may my family lives in ct so ill be there that weekend. but have to head back up sunday so saturday would be better. but its up to you if you wanna keep it sunday. but saturday would be better .

 

Is there anyway we could move it back one weekend to the Sept. 7 or 8. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it if it is sept 1 because that is labor day weekend and there is no way I am getting off on that working in retail, especially since I am one of the managers. Let me know.

 

I didn't even realize Sept. 1st was Labor Day weekend. so I'll postpone the meet to September 7th, a Saturday..

It'll be Saturday, Sept. 7th, 10am - 5pm or so.. I will make a web page soon and post the link.

The only reason for May 7 is I don't want it to interfere with labor day weekend which would be a busy weekend at that park.

Sorry I couldn't make it the 31st.

There will be other meets shortly after I'm sure.

Please reply to THE NEW THREAD also in the NorthEast section of this ProtegeClub forum if you're attending, and state what you're going to be bringing food wise. It will not be very convenient to use the barbeque setup there, so bring cold foods and chips and deli stuff if you'd like, please read the details on that page.

I will provide plates, napkins, cups, silverware, soda. You only need to bring ice (I can't bring it, and it needs to be the edible kind, will be used in soda and drinks) food and snacks for the 10-15 people who will probably show up!
