I got a feeling the RX8 is gonna pwn all just like the RX7 does/did.

 

I rather have a LancerEVO8 over WRX Sti. It has more room inside and IMO is better looking outside. Just can't get past the Altezzas in the back.

 

And I don't understand why the WRX have its intercooler up front like the Lancer. Maybe it's the packaging of the H4 engine?

But if it isn't I think the front mount intercooler would be more efficient since more air can pass by it to cool it down, the WRX has a opening in the front bumper for one already, and a bigger hoodscoop means less visibility to the road ahead for the driver, slight though and more noise, not to mention poor aerodynamic efficiency.

Sure the radiator will be blocked by the intercooler, but still I think it's a better location.

But remember that the fact that the RX7 was turbocharged was what made it so easy to be modded and go fast. But yeah, rotary owns.
