ACT scores
Hey What did you guys all get on ur act in HS? and what college did you go to. I just got my act scores back... Got a 29 composite. They score out like this 36 in science (perfect), 31 math, 28 reading, 21 english. I really want to go to Rochester Institute of Technology or University of Illinois Urbana-Champaigne (sp?).

I had a 30; math - 34, english - 30, science - 29, reading - 28 funniest part is I fell asleep during the reading section and I had to finish the last 2 stories in the last 5 minutes. I go to Tulane University in New Orleans.

I feel so young... I am only a sophomore. At least I got my FCAT writing back and I got a 5.5 out of 6!!! I know its a dumb question but what is the ACT and how hard is it?

You feel young...I feel OLD!!! I took the ACT 14 years ago!
Anyway, it's a college-entrance aptitude test. Basically proving that you actually LEARNED something in hs. Colleges look at ACT scores and GPA before they'll admit you. It's not "hard," and it's not "easy." It's just a measure of what you've learned, and how well you retained it. And Foxy's right...the fact that it's multiple choice helps a lot...
I've often wondered how us "old folks" would do if we had to take that test again, cold, after all these years...Probably fail miserably.

I think I would prolly do good. My magnet school moves faster then any other in our county in a rigorous pace. They say that but its still easy as hell. I am able to work 25 hours a week and still maintain straight A's. Just have to wait and see I guess
