age limits, foid, hunting, conceal
signed an app for my foid card, currently 17, 18 in 1 month
getting parent concent, no criminal record, and now im reading up on current laws and what is trying to be passed
as larry the cbl. guy stated, "if guns kill people, then i'll blame my pencil for mispelled words"
in another forum it is stated that criminals kill people and wont register for a foid or permit to conceal
and another states that, at 15 and 16 we are alowd to get our license
a car in many ways is a heavy piece of metal capable of high speeds. put a pissed off jack *** in a car that is aimed to kill people, then we'd have a dangerous wepon
what do you think?

in VA you can carry an openly holstered weapon, no license or permits necessary, no weapon registration necessary. just has to be in plain view & you can't carry it with you to certain places like airports, court rooms, etc. some counties don't have waiting periods. best place to buy a gun ever.

concealed weapon means you are pretty much hiding the fact you carry a gun (or other projectile shooting mechanism). you need a permit for that in VA. so you go through a lot of background checks and what not. people who are pro-gun say it means that those with permits are "safer" citizens. if thats the case then why conceal it to begin with? VA has an open carry policy, meaning as long as the gun is holstered and people can see it you're in like flynn. so again why go thru all the trouble to conceal it? although i'm usually pro-gun, wearing a gun in public (except for shooting ranges and such) is just asking for attention and trouble. not that any armed person would cause trouble, but nobody knows what the future will bring.
