Any Military Members?

Just wondering if anyone is in the military or joining soon. I am set to leave Nov.5 for the Army. Gonna be a 95 Bravo, military police My duty station is Ft.Lewis Washington...which might as well be on the other side of the world being that I am in VA.
So, anyone else? If so what branch and MOS. And how much you like it.

My best friend is a Marine. He got lucky and is stationed in Hawaii. He's been in for almost 3 years and said when his enlistment is up he's getting out; something about people being too gung-ho.

Chair Force here. Been in 3 1/2 years. Signed up for 6. Hating my job. I like the military though. First couple years were rough but once you hit E-4 its smooth sailing. Annual pay raises guaranteed!

I have much respect for the other branches of service, but being an Army brat I guess my destiny was sealed at birth All my friends keep telling me not to go but I need to start my life...and buy stuff for my P5 I am actually gonna be an E-3 after A.I.T. because I had 4 years of NJROTC in high school.
I ship out on Nov. 5, turn 21 this August, which only gives me 3 months of

Pathfinder at first. No Delta stands for I don't have to walk everywhere anymore and Recon was the ****. I loved hunting humans!

The training sucked. It was 5 months of pure boot camp hell.

We had 4 drills and 4 sargents for 24 of us. Only 9 of us graduated. I only did it, because they offered me $10,000 to go to school

We would go out and live off the land for weeks, eating bugs and treebark.

I had a friend that was in the marines, before he left man he used to laugh and joke and all that , when he came back , I used to try and kick jokes with him and he would not even smile , I would ask him questions and he would frigin just tell me what I asked for and that's it , nothing else , there was no ,,,, ohh and while doing that ,, ohh no , he just told you your answer and that was it ,.. I was like damn man they really changed him almost like frigin brain washing ,. no offense to anyone in the army or marines and all , but if I had to join , it would be straight to the airforce
