Anybody with construction or architecural experience?

Im trying to find some basic plans for a double garage. I want to get the average interior dimensions so I can see if I have enough space to build one. If anyone has any links, please post them. Thanks

I would talk to any forman in the area or even a city hall. You will need to get a permission from the city, and the forman knows all codes and standards to which your garage should meet.

damn, i had to do this a few years back to put together a project for my friend.. search LONG and HARD through yahoo/google, you'll definately find prelined plans for a garage.. i mean, i'd figure standard width for a 2 car garage to be a minimum of 20 to 26 feet... but like turbonium said, all of that's going to rest on your township/city's building codes and zoning laws. for all i know, you may have 50 feet on the side of your house or whereever you're going to put it, and your local ordinances would forbid against it.
