attempted break in WTF???
Just looking over my wife's LX and saw that someone attempted to pop her trunk lock! The metal on the cylinder is pulled away a bit and there's a scrape on the paint on the opposite side. This woudl be the third time that someone has tried to break into my wife's cars. Her MX6 got broken into 2 times. My wife goes to the U of M and I guess there are quite a few hooligans but jeesh. SHe doens't even have a system and everything is bone stock in her car. Kinda annoying. Now I'm debating about getting a new cylinder as it's pried a bit and water may get into the cylinder now. Also got a touch up the scraped paint.
Can't anyone just deal with their own stuff and not try to take other peoples stuff? I guess we're lucky that they didn't pop the cylinder that would have come out of our own pocket to fix it. The ins deductable is too high to cover the cost of that.
URRGGHHHHH!

you should just shave off the lock and use the inside trunk release. Or buy a gun and a camera and lay waiting in the shadows and drop outta the rafters...like a bat!!!
hahaha kinda got away from me. Playin too much vice city.

women have tendices to put valuable items in their trunk, especially after shopping. Most thieves know this and that is why the trunk is the 1st place they usually want to break into.
This is something that is common on Fordham road , a known shopping strip here in Bronx, New York..
upon walking you can see many broken glasses belonging to parked cars.
