Basketball thread II

Well Sacramento is doing well like I predicted, watch out when Webber gets back. Grizzlies suck as usual, and Raptors aren't doing too bad neither. Bucks got spanked when they went West, and Dallas is coming on strong.

Any b-ball fans in here?

Sac-town beat the Sixers tonight, and proved that they are the #2 team in the NBA right now, playing the Lakes friday night, anybody else smelling an upset coming?

I expect everyone in here to watch the Michigan State/Florida game tonight at 7!!

Unless, of course, like me you will be installing your new head unit. In that case, tape it.

Since you're into college hoops more, and I admit, I just watch a few games once the playoffs start, what's the deal with that Wagner kid in Memphis, is he really that good? I know he had a 100 point game in high school, but I mean I could probably get 100 points against a high school team provided that they all suck really bad. How is he doing this year?
Each year I pick a player or two that I really like (in the past, Arcenaux, Swift) and I try and follow how they do, but that's as extensive I'll ever get when it comes to college hoops.

I havent heard bout how he's done so far, but if you score 100 points in a game, you're good. The same sort of question came up w/ teddy dupay. He average over 40 points a game his senior year in high school and got 3000 in his career, but it was in like the lowest league in all of florida. Then he turned out to be a big time player... casino player at least...

Anyway, where are all the other hoops fans at? How are your teams doing? what are your predictions?

all i got to say (and i know i'm gonna get flamed sooner or later) is that DUKE is gonna take it all!
...florida and teddy dupay? 40pts/game in hs? was that in the midget/dwarf league? not disputing stats or anything, cause i think he's really good, but playing against little kids in hs means nothing (*ahem* t. chandler, e. curry) and you'll have to prove yourself all over again in division 1 hoops.
...wagner is bad@*** but needs to open his eyes and find the other 4 teammates on the floor. he may have been the man in hs, but college is a whole new beast!
NBA note:
omigod. the wizards are nuts! mj is truly a god. they make the playoffs this year no doubt about it!

nba:
wtf is wrong with miami? they got damn good players but can't get the "w". and is it just me or are they're more
foreign impact players this year? norwitzki, nash (props to all you canadians out there!), the entire kings team, tony parker...man, is america getting weaker or are the other countries getting better?

The only reason the players from other countries are getting better is because America made basketball popular. But then again I live in the middle of Indiana, so that's probably just my "Hoosier Hysteria" talking....
