big storm

a strong storm system is going to crash into rockfor in a matter of hours

the storm itself is in iowa but lightning can be clearly seen from inside our house... and the clouds for the system are just bearly breaking into city limits....

im pretty nervouse that this wind is already very quick.. and as my car is under a tree and insured as liability... ive got a motor on its way whithing a week.... i really hope nothing gets fkd up...

anyone else encounter a closly related car emergancy?
hope this storm is weak

Just hope its a weak storm. After its over get some full coverage or just park away from falling/flying objects. I have full coverage but I do this all the time during winter and fall, Im just on the other side of the sierra nv mtns.. The winds get out of control as they come my way out of the mtns. (nothing like hurricanes/tornados im sure). but trees fall, billboards and shiggles fly. Snow crushes carports leaving cars trapped. So instead of worrying during a bad storm no matter wind or snow my car doesnt move, just leave it parked in an open area away from harm

i got worried over nothing
now i can go about my motor prep and pull my old one out and drop the new whithin this month

dude here in nebraska that storm was nuts, it turned our streets into rivers in a matter of seconds and we got hail the size of pop cans, just south of us it was like 4" hail plus a couple of tornadoes, the lightning was awesome though

...not a small storm here in Michigan. 60-70mph winds, heavy rains, and a few tornadoes.

yall are lucky to get just that, hurrican season just started down here in louisiana, yall dont live in the fear of if a catagory 4 or 5 storm hits u dead on, ur city might turn into another atlantis. not to mention , hail, tornados and 130mph plus winds, also with 10 inches of rain and storm surge. you have to have full coverage down here..

we hadnt had a direct hit since 93, andrew, luckily they have all been turning at our coast and hitting mississippi or texas, but like i said, if we get hit directly by a 4 or 5, New Oreans will be the next atlantis, they did a study on if one would hit , it would take 6 weeks to get the water out, and another 6 months to a year to get everything running again... where i live, houma, is south of new orleans , but we are higher than them , 7 feet above sea level, new orleans is -14 feet below sea level..

long story short, we get hit dead on New Orleans is fucked.... lol .. so no more bourbon street..

a hurricane you get a few days or at least hours warning.......a tornado you get about 15 minutes and you dont want an F5 tornado heading your way because it will rip the foundation of your house right out of the ground.

bad part is the hurricane either strengthens or dissapates.. you either get fkd, or pist that you did all that work to save your house for no reason

15 min. you know what your gonna get...... and then its gone.... tornado's suck ***
