120 in a 50 coming home from the casino. Speedtrap. Cop reduced it to 65 in a 50 and wrote my plate down wrong :P

Been pulled over only once on my bike. The cop was so shocked that I stopped that he let me go with a warning.

Mine was $266 but that was back in 1991.

Exceeding the speed limit by 81mph (136mph) in a 55 mph zone on my Zx-7.

Man, I just got pulled over for the first time last Friday... 83 in a 65... tickets in NJ are double the fine if the speed limit is marked at 65.

Luckily, I didn't have my most current insurance card... I say luckily, because he obviously wanted to charge me for something... he waved the 4 point, $200 ticket with a warning in favor of giving me the much more tasteful $44 ticket for not having my current insurance card.

I'm thinking about getting my insurance company to fight it... I called them on it, and they agreed that they failed to mail me a new card. Of course, anyone could argue that in the last 3 months, I should have known that the current one was expired.

So now I've been pulled over once, but I've still never had a speeding ticket.

Never been pulled over yet, but both my friends have. But I hope I keep it that way.

My first speeding ticket... not even one month after I got the P5. 47 in a 30. I was stupid to get caught anyway... my radar detector was going crazy but I paid no attention to it.
I could have gotten away from the cop: the roads were wet and when he turned around, his back end drifted right into a curb and up onto the muddy sidewalk... bogged down almost instantly. I slowed down and watched him barely get out of the hole and run right up on my *** w/lights and siren full-on. I should have ducked onto a side street and turned backward... he never would have got me. Oh well... deferred adjudication rocks

My friend was at court to fight his ticket and some kid tried to pull something like that. The officer came in and testifed against him and he ripped that kid apart because the officer was being nice and didn't write him up for everything. The judge then ripped on the kid a bit too.

I got a ticket for cutting off a cop. I think the cop was being a huge jack ***. He was like 'I had to slam on the breaks or I would have rear ended you and it would have been a huge accident'. Yeah okay buddy, not only was I about 5 feet in front of him but I also had my blinker going for about 5 second. It was only $100 CDN so it's not too bad.

because i dont think i can take the stop class (class to get out of the ticket) for this speeding ticket because its over 20mph over. damn. im paying like 70 a month now, i wonder how much this will effect this.
If it's your first, you will just get demerit points. I don't know what' s it like in the states but when I got my first one, my insurance didn't go up, but the insurance company sent me a letter stating that i have a point taken off(don't know howm much i'm allotted). I was going 85 in a 60km/h zone at 7am saturday morning right after a night shift. $96 ticket cdn.

Am I the only speeder?

C'mon guys,
I haven't even had a good car and I've racked up more speeding tickets/moving violations than all of you. Here's the laundry list although I can't remember what I paid for most of these.

1. '84 Toyota Camry- 65 in 55mph (1995)
2. '84 Toyota Camry- rear-ended a Civic, no damage to me, bumper trashed on Civic (1996)
3. '84 Toyota Camry-72 in 55 (1996)
4. '84 Toyota Camry-58 in 45 (1997)
5. '95 Dodge Intrepid- 76 in 45 (1998, got out of it in court)
6. '95 Dodge Intrepid- 82 in 65 (1998, cop didn't show, fine reduced, took a class)
7. '95 Dodge Intrepid- ran stop sign in my neighborhood that nobody, including cops, stops at. Cop was in driveway busting keg party and saw me (1998)
8. 2002 MP5- 2 weeks after getting my new car I got pulled over for speeding 80 in 55. Had no license plate, just dealer tag. Paid big fine. (2001,Dec)
9. 2002 MP5- pulled over in exact same spot as previous violation and cited for same speed, but cop gave a warning.

Needless to say, my insurance on the P5 is ridiculously high, but since most of my violations are over 3 years old, my insurer will drop the points by my next payment (THANK GOD). By the way, suspending a license in Georgia must require a murder or two, because if mine hasn't been touched...

My Tickets are as follows :

*edit* added what car it was in

1994 Civic : 30 in a 15 while smoking tires in an empty parking lot = Reckless Driving / $1000 / 2 pt / Probation

1994 Civic : 65 in 45 = $450 1pt

1994 Civic : 65 in 45 = $280 1pt

1996 Crown Victoria : 60 in 45 = $300 Traffic School

1994 Civic : 80 in 65 = $450 1pt

1994 Civic : Accident = 1pt

1994 Civic : Throwing lit substance on highway (threw a clove and it landed on a cop car.. he even knew it was a clove) = $460 + 8hrs community service

1994 Civic / 1993 Prelude : Exhaust (3) = $10 each time

1994 Civic : Tint (2) = $10 each time

1994 Civic : Modified vehicle lighting (2) = $10 each time

1994 Civic : No Front Plate (4) = $10 each time

1993 Prelude : Registration (5) = In the prelude, while trying to smog it, got towed twice by police, every other time was $260 because we couldnt clear it

You can imagine what my insurance is like... yeesh. None of my tickets are off of my record, add to it a suspened license last year, and my insurance is like rent.
