Today i was leaving school, and it was actually a good day. Until i saw my busted window, and system gone. This is the 2nd time in 1 MONTH!!! The system that i have below in my signature was the 1st one that got stolen. The one that was stolen today was two 12 JL W6's, and a JL 1000/5, with a pioneer CD player... My luck is just GREAT isnt it???

God damn ,,, I sware it must be someone you know or someone that heard you playing your tunes.... That is the sole reason I don't like to invest in to much audio anymore....

I had the same thing happen to me years ago. Your best bet is 3 things: alarm first, insurance, and stealth system. In school, word of mouth is what gets you in trouble, so be careful who you talk to and where you crank your tunes. That'll get you all the time. You work hard to get a nice system and some ******* rips it off in a matter of minutes! I'd file a police report and comb the pawn shops. A month after my system got ripped off, the cops made a sting and busted the guys who did it, but my head unit was gone (probably sold it because it was a high end one).

About a month ago, my P5 was broken into. If you all remember, the ******* came back the next day and slashed the seats and tires. Add to that, they pissed inside the car. I'm still waiting for my car to get done. The paint is finished, but the dealer is lagging on the parts that need to be replaced, mostly interior. Going on 35 days without the P5.

One thing I leraned is to not bolt your CD player in your dash, when I was incollege my car had the windows busted and my dash had a giant hole in the middle where my CD uased to be, if it wasnt as secure it wouldnt of hurt as bad, it looked like they cut the plastic around my dash with a chainsaw.

 

i know how you feel man, like 3 years ago my blazer got broken into in my driveway. they ripped both door locks out, and stole all my stuff. im certain it was someone that knew me. hence the reason i have my stock mazda cd player in my pro. sorry to hear it man. if you find out who did it let me know ill help you kick his ***.

 

The thing that really pisses me off is that the cop that is supposed to "patrol" doesnt do **** around here. I had a Sidewinder6500 alarm in my car, but when they shattered the NEWLY 5% tint, the alarm went off. They popped the hood and disconnected it. The they proceeded to rip me off. Not only did they rip me off, but they jacked 6 other cars within a 55 minute time period. I got my insurance to take care of it the first time, but i dont think im going to do it this time, because they will probably jack my rates through the damn ceiling. I have a guy that hooks me up at a car stereo store around here, and he is pretty much going to give me all my **** back and them some for free. So i guess i come out on top.... but it still pisses me off!!!

it's real unfortunate but that's what happens when you advertise your system.
what i mean by advertise is, when you're driving down the street with the system blaring.

i never really understood the whole purpose of having an extremely loud system anyhow?

1 : annoying to others
2 : damaging to you and your car
3 : distracting
4 : unnecessary...
