Most of the stuff that's been posted on this topic is correct, but being the nitpicker I am, here are some additional differences and other notes:
* All U.S. Integra Type R's (ITR's) have the same size wheels as a regular GS-R..and the same size as a 99-00 Protege ES! (15"x6") However, they have a slightly different design than regular GS-R wheels, in addition to the 5-bolt pattern. They were white in 97-98, and gunmetal in 2000. Tires were also the same size as a GS-R (195/55R15) but were a grippier compound and were not all-season.
* The front brakes are the same ones that came on the 94-97 Accord wagon, but drilled for 5-bolt wheels. Rear brakes were the same as a GS-R.
* The ultra-rare 97 model (less than 200 imported) did not have a rear wiper/washer. 98 and 00 ITR's did.
* No ITR's were built with sunroofs. All GS-R's have factory sunroofs. This is another easy way to spot fakes.
* In addition to the thicker unibody sheetmetal, all ITR's have different rear swaybar mounting points than any other Integra. This feature is almost impossible to fake.
* All ITR's have bright red suedelike seats and plaques on the center console with the car's serial number.

also, championship white was only offered on the Type Rs. The GSRs white is different. I'm suprised that wasn't posted, and I'm dissapointed it took so long for someone to post the correct engine code. all ITR engines (worldwide) are the B18C5, and are hand built.
