Ok, you guys have to check this out.

It's called slamball. Take a basketball court, shorten it, put plexiglass all the way around, install 4 trampolines under the basketball net, get a bunch of dropout NFL linebackers, NBA point guards, and probably some hockey players, take the rule book and throw it away and you have SLAMBALL!!!!

I expected it to suck big time, but I actually find it interesting.....

Just don't know what they have coaches for, it's not like you need a coach in that game haha

 

That looks like the greatest and the dumbest new sport ever invented...I am curious to see it. I think I'll be a rumble fan...but I guess I have to watch before I know.

 

Yea, i thought it would be stupid too until I saw it... Oh man does it look like crazy fun! I hope this doesn't go the way of the XFL

 

Looks sweet. I have a problem with hearing the coaches at halftime in the locker room. Too XFL for me.

 

Hopefully they won't go too XFLish. The upside to this game has over the XFL is that the action is pretty none stop. The XFL was just bad football punctuated by long breaks between downs and longer commercials. I caught the last half of a slamball game, and all I could think was damn how cool would it be to play that game with a bunch of friends.

I am looking forward to seeing how the game progresses if it catches on.
