Question Cutting music?

Does anyone know of a program(to download for free) that I can use to cut music? Is www.cuttermusic.com one? Me dont know

im not sure what you mean by "cutting" music, but i have my own digital studio and have TONS of software. explain more of what you want to do and maybe i can email you some software

Well you see I wanna burn a song onto a cd but I dont actually want the whole song, just half of it, how do I go about doing that? Does that make more sense?

You could maybe try to find a downloadable version of "sound Forge"made by sonic foundry. It will do what you need, but might be hard to find.....sorry thats all i know

celtin, can you make beats with your software? i've been looking for **** lately so i can make beats, and start recording using the setup i have in my room. a few friends and i are looking into recording some of the lyrics we write.

yeah i have a full external midi setup and use a roland d12 groovebox and oxygen midi controller for most of my stuff, but for software beat-makers... look for reason or rebirth, both made by propellerhead. one is a groove maker, and one its more of a synth. those 2 programs and record into acid- good stuff

ender-
look for anything with a wave form editor- thise way you can select what you want, save it as a wave form, and and then burn it. you can do it in acid 3.0 or higher... for ex.
