The results for Staff Sergeant came out today, and unfortunately...yours truly was not selected. So, there's always next year. This feels similiar to the 'Canes losing to Ohio State a few years back...I'm crushed.

So...in honor of that, I'm going to drink tonight...

Figured I'd pass that along damn it.

Damn man that sucks. I went to an Air Force school a while back and a guy told me how that ish works. Next year will be your time. On the other hand they are forcing me to be an E-5.

 

Yeah...it blows. You have to take your SKT (Subject Knowledege Test) & your PFE (Promtion Fitness Exam...has nothing to do w/actual fitness...it's AF/Aviation history etc.)...your score is averaged and then based on the mass majority....that's how they score you. Booooo I say. I want to make that transition from E-4 to E-5 also, the money is sweet...the added responsibility sucks...lol! You Army guys have it good...promotion wise at least.
