Look at an SRT-10 Ram. There are no provisions for a trailer hitch, and a big, goofy fin makes getting stuff in and out of the bed difficult. The Typhoon had a payload of only a few hundred pounds, if I recall. The Chevrolet SS truck costs north of forty grand for one of the snazzy new AWD ones, and would get whooped in a race by a Mustang. These sport trucks are not real trucks, because they don't work like real trucks. They have grip, but this doesn't mean they have crisp handling, or are nimble through the pylons. Simply put, you spend your $45,000 on a hot rod truck that rides like a cement mixer (and gets about as many mpg), and I'll take my $45,000 and buy a Lotus Elise, and then we'll race. On a winding road. You'll see quickly that a big, heavy truck (no matter what size tires, engine, and brakes it may have) will at best make a ****-poor sports car, when compared dollar for dollar with the real thing.
