Deer hit my car!!!!!

A deer hit my lovely, pristine and immaculate Protege ES yesterday evening. It ran right into the rear driver side door and it'll cost $2750 to fix it. I never saw it. But I will only have to pay a $100 deductible, sweet!! But damn,...it's scary to see your car all mangled up. I hate deers. There were little deer hairs stuck inside the trim and slobber from it too..

I feel your pain .... But atleast its only going to cost you $100.00 ... but thats still $100.00 for something you didnt do - Goodluck, hope you find someone to fix it right... God knows its hard to find someone to make it "look like new"

That's funny. A dog saying "WTF?"

But anywho, MarkSpark sorry that happened. What's going to suck even more is if they keep your car in a shop for a week or more. When mines got hit, I was without a car for 2 weeks. Did $4000+ worth of damage. It sucks even more when you drive by the shop and see your car sitting in one place like they aren't doing anything But, I understand that they had a lot of customers in front of me. That was the LONGEST 2 weeks of my entire life

What was the deer driving? Sometimes they're worse than those old people driving big boats. I would go after his insurance for the damages. Maybe you can sue him for the $100 deductable you have to pay.

Haha, you guys crack me up. Can I get the state to pay for the $100 deductible? That would be cool. I didnt see the deer on the side of the road so I'm assuming it survived, but maybe I'll find out when I get the police report on Friday. I'm thinking to get it fixed during christmas break. I'll just have my girlfriend drive me around. Peace guys and thanks for the replies!
