Dinosaur Day at school

Dinosaur Day at school
So for the past couple of weeks, the little kids at my school have been doing a unit about dinosaurs, learning all about them, etc.
As the final activity, the kids were told to make their own dinosaur at home, give it a name, describe what it eats, etc. and bring it in to school today.
I happened to be in a first grade room observing this morning when the kids were sharing their projects with the class. Most looked like they had been made out of detergent bottles and shoe boxes, covered with construction paper, glitter, paint, whatever. One girl had painted a shoe box, stuck a Barbie head on one end, and said it was a BarbieSaurus.
But I nearly fell out of my chair when one kid got up there with his dinosaur. It was all aluminum foil and duct tape...hard to really tell one end from the other.
And its name?
"BlingBlingSaurus."

Well, it would be hard for me to be a creepy old man, since I'm a girl.
Mostly I teach reading to first, second, and third graders. I mentor some of the teachers as well, which is why I was observing in that first grade class this morning.
The teacher couldn't figure out why I was laughing (actually, I was trying to hide it) so hard.

BlingBlingSaurus? Sounds like the kid's mom & dad have a pretty good sense of humor!
My little 3 yo guy loves dino's. He's got dozens of action figures, books, all the Land Before Time videos, etc, etc. A couple weeks ago we took him to a museum where they had the life-sized, animated dino's making all the noise and stuff - he was scared shitless!
Hmm, stranger things have happened ! Dale, you still hanging out with Whammy and gang?
