Almost 700mph @ 30,000ft.

Coming back from Los Angeles on a 767, with a REALLY strong tailwind.

The pilot had to come over and tell us the flight would be cut short about 40 minutes because of the great speed he was getting.

130 in a 96 Mustang Cobra I used to own. It was about 3am out on the highway. I passed a pickup doing about 70 to pass him he was doing about 60 and then after I passed him he speed up and got on my ***. I hit the pedal and was doing 130 and left him in my dust. I kept it up for about 5 miles then back down to 70. By then he was gone.

115MPH if you've got the 1.8l.
Probably the same for the 1.5l

Speedo indicated 152 racing a 95 GT with his top down. I was in my Mustang right after I got the 4:10's installed. 5th pulls much better now.

I smoked him from 70 to 120 so I slow down. He flyes by and put on the Hazards and I say Hell no. So I dropped back to 4th wind it out, and then start pulling on him and pass him at about 135. Figued I was already up there I might as well stay in it for a minute. No one else on the road, no exits or onramps. Got scarred when I started to feel the harmonics in the driveshaft in the seat. Ford stock drive-shafts are know to be a little aout of balance some times. Hello alunimum driveshaft.

130 in my old tour (speed limiter (112)? what freekin speed limiter?) That was a little freaky especially as it shifted into the overdrive gear (maybe it was just the torque converter locking in) after 100mph and was only turning at about 4000 RPM.
