I looked a lot at free websites and all of them have some kind of serious downfall...no hosting of files,limited space, limited bandwidth, banner ads, pop ups, and the list goes on. What I did discover though is that you can get a pretty good website $5 a month. Its pretty basic as far as what you can do...but no ads and it works.
