last night I was on my way home from getting some food (in my MS3), and I stop at a traffic light right behind a cop. Brand new bright red civic si pulls up 2 lanes over with the license plate: BI OFFCR (bye officer). I thought that was pretty funny. Light turns green and I was amused to see that even though we were doing 40 in a 45, the civic didn't want to pass the cop. As soon as the cop turned off the road I got ahead of him, he seemed like he wanted to play so I punched it. I couldn't really tell but it appeared he was trying to keep up... Anyway I had to turn off the road before we could actually stop at light together or anything, not really a race, just a funny story.

 

I had someone do that similar thing on the way home yesterday. I'm in the left lane of a two lane following a cop ~ 60 in a 55. I see an Accord coming up fast (~75?) gets over to fly past me, finally sees the cop. She hits the brakes, stays next to me. Ended up having to get back behind me because we caught up with a slow car on the right lane. Then she turned off. The End.

 

what is it about having a mazda that makes people think you are always out to race. Too many times have I been at a red light and someone revs their engine at my bone stock P5 (sigh).

 

dunno, usually its a trucks/suv's that wanna race me... this morning it was a Kroger delivery truck - w00t!

 

got the perfect example:
So, I am headed to work this morning going ~ 65 / 55. I see this black SUV (Cadillac?) coming up behind me. Well, the brilliant driver decides that she is going to pass me up a hill (double yellow line). It pissed me off because 1st of all, I was going plenty fast enough, 2nd, it was over a freak'n hill! Well, the next stright, I go back around her, which apparently pissed her off... because she kept trying to pass me most of the way to work, everytime she would go out, I would down shift & go... ( mean... i know) anyway, eventually i get tired of her passing me (we are on the 10 loop by now) I just get next to a car traveling @ a good rate of speed and stay there. blockage FTW! So anyway, she turns off about 2 exits down. Crazy women in their BIG suv's. You would think she would have learned after a couple of romps up to 85ish that I wasn't going to let her pass.

oh well, maybe i was in the wrong, but oh well

 

my favorite blockage I reserve for when I'm already above the speed limit and someone is seriously up on my ***, like can't even see their headlights close. In those cases, I usually will pin them right next to a semi, because everyone HATES being next to a truck. I'll hold them there long enough for them to figure out I'm doing in on purpose and get pissed off, then I let them go by.

 

ooh.. never thought of Semi-blockage... have to try that...

most of the time, if you pass me I dont care... but over a hill @ 6:30am...

 

When I block, I always get just in front of the car I'm keeping up with (bout 1/4 car length). If they really **** me off, then I'll stay a 1/4 car length back, and when they get over move up to 1/4 ahead of the car I'm keeping up with. They I proceed to drift go back and forth with that 1/4 car length behind, then ahead, behind, ahead, behind, ahead, behind, ahead, behind, ahead, behind, ahead (well you get the picture). Then if they still get on my butt, then I'll slow way down, force them to get over, then catch back up with the car and block them in again.

 

thats why I stay outta Alabama...

i had a squirrel try to race me today haha...

i started up and he didnt know which way to go, so he just ran down the other lane next to me - pretty funny!

 

how many car lengths did the squirrel beat you by?
