funnest car you've driven or owned
Not sure if this thread has been up before but i was just wondering what you people think is the funnest car you've driven or owned. Other than my PRO 5 i would have to say the funnest car i've driven is my old TOYOTA AE86 RWD i had a cusco limited slip in that sucka. That car was so much fun i used to drift that car like a champ wish my PRO 5 was rear wheel drive so i could drift her. I can but only if i skill it with the E-BRAKE. The other car i would have to say is my boys RX-7 twin turbo i love driving that car that thing is stupid fast its converted to single turbo and is even faster then when it had two turbos.

I honestly can't say which was the most fun- they each had their own strengths and weaknesses. In order, I've had;
83 Celica ST
86 Prelude Si
91 MR2 (Normally aspirated)
91 Stanza GXE
00 Celica GT
02 MP5
I've still got a place in my heart for my 00' Celica, so if I HAD TO choose, that'd be my pick.

its a hard choice....OTHER than my P-5 I have had two that were a total gass....
my 1965 VW Bug.....it was a total sleeper and would eat any Z-28 or MustangGT in the quarter that was around here...needless to say it wasn't stock....the car only weighted 1650 lbs....and the engine that I built for it made 130 Hp....it screamed.
the other would be the 1970 VW custom I built....after I was done with it, it looked like a 3/5's scale 1940 Ford Coupe. I even got pics of it in HotRod Magazine....that was totally cool.

Most fun to drive: My 1993 Miata. 5-speed, 1.6L 4-banger - a go-cart with an airbag. What a freakin blast. Factory Pioneer CD system, with 10 speakers - including subs in the seatbacks and a stereo set of speakers in each headrest. My only mod was an air horn.
Most fun to be in: For me, my 1979 Camaro. Silver (like 75% of the cars I've owned), black interior, 305 V8, T-Tops (no leaks) and a rare 4-speed stick. Clutch was like a universal weight machine. The shifter was like driving a big yellow school bus. Probably made 12 MPG. But it would do 95 MPH in third gear with the long ratio 10-bolt rear. 12" JBL sub, Kenwood deck/CD changer, and "HIHOSLVA" on the license plates. *sniffle* I'm still crying.
Most fun to make fun of: The $300 1979 Cutlass Classic wagon I used to work out of. I had a tiny (13" maybe?) racing steering wheel, and my buddy's 1987 TransAm rims and tires - they rubbed like crazy. Small-*** V-8 - like a 260, I think it was. My headlight switch crapped out, so the lights were direct wired to the battery with a toggle switch for on/off. First time, I didn't fuse it and the car almost burned when a wire got crimped. People used to hit my car or bump the car with theirs, and just wave, cuz they knew it was no big thing.
The P5 is my first new car - 12 miles when I drove it off the lot. While it is fun, and I love having a new (newER now almost a year old), nothing beats driving a total piece of crap that you would leave wherever it dies. There's something truly wonderful about not having to care.

well the funnest car ive owned is the protege5, but thats the only car ive ever owned, atleast for now (a second car is coming this summer, used though).
the most fun car ive driven is a toss-up..... either a new 2002 miata special edition with the 6speed....... or one of the two z3s ive driven (one had the 2.8liter, the other the big 3liter) probably the bmw was teh most fun, because of the power it has.

I drove a '02 miata and had to do a U-turn in the gravel parking lot.....basically the rear end pivoted while the front stayed in its place. The most fun vehicle I have driven has to be my Kawasaki ZX6R. I miss it so much. Got to ride it at VIR and really push it.....Nearly 160 MPH on a bike is crazy. As for craziest ride...my friends '68 bug with about 300 HP. It is chopped 3" and has flared fenders. I will post some pics of it. It will eat anything alive on the street. I didn't know how powerful it was and on my first ride he raced a C5 vette and killed it. Funny thing to see an old bug haul ***.

The funnest car I have been in, but never drove, was my cousins 74 GTO. This is anything but stock, dynoed at 742 hp at the wheel. It looks like a hunk of junk from the outside, but once you hear it start up it is no joke. Since he lives in Florida he can take it out on the streets, damn you states that don't have safety and emissions laws. But that thing is a beast, and so much fun.

The funnest car I've driven would have to be my friends 95' 300ZX turbo. Since I would say it was the fastest top speed I've ever driven on highway in a car...we were averaging 225km/h which felt fast passing cars doing 100km/h. I do not recommend it and not the smartest thing I've ever done...but definitely memorable.
The vehicle that I've owned that I had the most fun with would be my FZR750. Scared myself a little fish tailing the back end on really smooth pavement. But what the hell...you only live once!!

My 1970 Buick GS455 stage1 was a rush, that was my second car. First was a 56 Ford Meteor with a 292 V8 my grandfather gave me. He bought it new, had 60,000 miles when I got it in 1980.
My 86' Shelby Charger was a blast, 68' Chevelle SS396, and my 88' Mustang GT Convertable were great too. Something to be said about a V8, especially big blocks.
Sorry, I'm old... had lots of cars.
