The IS 300 IS an Altezza.
It has all the right in the world to have "altezza" tail lights.

 

so they are rice b/c there not european ? i thought rice was something like a civic with rain gutters on there car as sideskirts or those led washer lights b/c they serve no purpose what so ever and those tire light now i can see those as rice but altezza's ? cmon

 

Altezza's on a car they aren't designed for just look out of place. There are only a few times I would approve but most look horrible. Especially the Eclipses with the clear lights that go across the tail, that is just horrible. APC crap is just tacky in my opinion. Also that stupid *** show on Speed Hirevtuners is probably funded 75% by APC. Ever see that Ford Focus, wow that is just obscene.

they do serve a purpose as replacement back lights just like clear corner lights, or diamond clear corners , something to make your car look different like the body kits most of u say the body kits make our pro like ricey like a honda or whatever but if they didnt make body kits most o f yall would be complaining but hey most ppl like them some ppl dont cant change i just dont understand why everything has to be rice but i like mine and im not mad just wanna know where this rice came from

 

Lexus doesn't exist in Japan, only in the US. In Japan, it's the Toyota Altezza, not the Lexus IS300 that's only in the States.

Also, the Nissan Altima now comes with clear tail lights, as well as a pleathora of 2003's comin' out.
