Game Console vs. Computer Games
#2
Computer gaming basically is infinite. As computers get better and faster, as do the games. Console gaming is typically limited by the system and the space requirements. I often enjoy console more because of the ease of play and overall simplicity. Also, you always know that a console game is going to run well, computer games can be choppy and/or problematic unless you have a really up to date tower...which I don't

Yeah, what he said.
It basically comes down to how much hassle you're willing to put up with.
I am cool and I combine.

I've really strayed from PC gaming since I've gotten my PS2. My PC is very capable as a gaming machine, in fact for as much as I game on it, I should have just saved myself the $$ and have it not be quite so powerful.
Anyways, I'm not interested in like ANY of the new PC games. I do like a good FPS or racer, but it seems almost all the PC games these days are the strategy/rpg/waste 10 hours of your life per day games that I don't like, and aren't any good at anyways.

The Xbox Live takes care of the online problem thank you very much.
Other than Unreal 2003 and Unreal Tournament, there's really no games to keep me interested in PC gaming. And even Unreal 2003 is out on the Xbox. (renamed as Championship).
The Xbox JUST WORKS. You put in the game and it works. On the PC you have to INSTALL it, set the right graphics, audio, network, etc settings, then pray that it runs fast enough. If it doesn't, tweak graphics, run again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

They have a techdeal for a refurb xbox and two coupons to get it down to $135 shipped If you want games it'll probably just as cheap to go to any ol' place and the get xbox/2 game deal for $200.
They also have further down on the list somewhere the 2 game/xbox deal for like $175 I think. Hope this helps
