same name over there too....I drove her to work today...already had an issue with the TB boot...got a temp fix on there working good though...I will def buy the one from Ford it's cheaper than the Mazda one. Got Cone filter on her, other than that bone stock. Still, I already have a decent kill list. Mustang GT, Monte Carlo, Dodge Ram 1500, Civic(couldn't help it,damn ricer). She needs some work though. NY car so she has some underbody rust, needs a new exhaust. I plan on getting a MBC,Zombie chip, and a new clutch. That should keep me happy for quite a while.

hmm....strange. Someones banning application must've gotten lost in the shuffle. Oh well, I'll see what we can do about that.
Congrats on the new ride. Enjoy your new found torque and kiss your tires goodbye! I used to have a hard time with a few MX-6's in my SHO prior to exhaust and N20!

Oh, boy might as well call himself Mr GM...Thats ok though, My MX-6 is no lead sled. Crank up the boost and I can hang with TA's in the straights and KILL them in the twisties and my total investment will be a fraction of what they cost. Lets see MX-6 $600, TA $30,000..Which one sounds better to you. Besides if i can put down close to 250 hp, this engine is so torquey it will be putting down like 350+ lb-ft of torque, and torque is what wins races.

Torque is what will get you going but horsepower is what keeps you going!
I wish I could luck up on a GT like that...especially for $600. I seem to get all the bum offers, but I did get a 1988 T-bird Turbo coupe with forged internals and a built tranny for $300! I guess you win some you lose some!

13 flat? You think you will run 13 flat? And FYI, they don't make 30K TA's anymore, but you can still get one that will run 13.3's all day long for $10K
Post the timeslips when you do ok?

I dont think low 15's stock is bad at all...198Lb-ft to the wheels too,not the crank...more like 240 to the crank...and for another $800 or so I can run 13's...zombie chip,3" exhaust,MBC,and stage 1 clutch will get me there...dare to compare the same year TA??...oh wait they run 16's...so an 88 Mx-6 vs an 88 TA, looks like the MX-6 wins...btw not much selection for a TA that runs 13's for $10K..1998 only...99 bumps to like $15K and 1997 runs 14's...and they all weigh in around 3500+ lbs...at 2700 lbs i dont even need to make as much power...a 1998 TA which costs(if you are really lucky) $9400 more than my Mx-6 has a 100lb-ft advantage stock....so if i put down about 260-270 lb-ft, I'll pull on them too....
