Shayshay,

Being an Angel fan since 1979 I'm hoping SoCal dominates or at least takes it back to the Big Ed here in Anaheim to win the decisive 7th game.

GO RED STORM! ECKSTEIN AND KENNEDY ARE MY HEROES!!

Angry A's Should Have Been There

I grew up in Oakland and always have been an A's fan-- And all I can say is the A's should have been in The Series, dammit. I don't know what the hell it is-- They're a superior team but when the playoffs come around they miraculously transform themselves into the Detroit Tigers and play ball like a bunch of scared-***, clueless, scumbag, *******, dumbass, **** face, obtuse, jerkoff, dimwit, ****-off, bastard, moron, inept, hoser, vile, brainless, friggin' choking losers. I totally swear it pisses me off to NO damned end. Year after year after year.

I also think their style of playoff baseball is cowardly, spineless, weak, unworthy, pathetic, inservient, condescending, incapable, unacceptable, patronizing, embarrassing, and personally offensive.

Anyway, that said, I've also been a Giants fan given that they're the other Bay Area team. If it came down to the A's or Giants (as was the case in '89), I'd be all for the A's, no question, though.

I'm totally rooting for San Francisco, but have a feeling Anaheim is going to win the series.

ShayShay,
I too don't think it will take the Angels 7 games to dispose of the Giants. I'm thinking within 6 games or less. Oh, you meant the G-men will win? So sorry.

ProMaster- Yeeouch! Don't sugar coat your disappointment in the Athletics (although I'd say, withhold the profanity). Thanks for your last sentence. Nice to know that true baseball fans know that momentum is on the side of the soon-to-be sold Disney team. Take notice of the many records these once-in-a-lifetime Angels posted in the DCS and ACLS. (Hits in an inning, home runs by a player, runs in an inning, shut out innings by relievers, etc.). The Yanks and the Twinkies had no choice but too lose. Other than BB, Livan, and Jeff Kent (and maybe Kenny Lofton) who do the Giants have? Let's hope BB and Jeff don't openly argue in the dugout again.

PS: I think the Rally Monkey is extremely silly, yet effective.

I have confidence in the Red Storm with their Rally Simian(sp?) and resounding Thunder Sticks that will win this series in 6.

SS,

Well, we've seen over this weekend what kind of games to expect. One run differences with plenty of pitching (marginal at best, minus brilliant performances by Nen, Frankie Rodriguez, and T. Worrell). Barry's home run last night was a MONSTER! Probably still circling the globe as you read this. Not to fond of his flipping the bat and watching the flight of the ball as it travels into the stands. That's enough to incite retaliation - hate too say. I for one, am glad that Percival pitched to Bond with his 97 mph fastball to challenge the situation. However, all for naught, as they say. It's now 1-1, right where the Angels started in both previous playoff series. And we know the outcome of those. Up to the Bay area they go with fog and less likely home runs. Oh, and how about the Angel not getting struck out for game 2? They'll "nickel-and-dime" you to death. Relentless.

Until the Rally Monkey stops banging those Thundersticks..... GO RED STORM!

Many thanks for your short message. I'm licking the wounds and trying to stop the self inflicted bleeding after watching the GEE-EYE-ANTS kick the Halos' butts. However, I'm confident that game 6 will have a reversal of fortune at home here and that win will set the stage for a dramatic game 7. I'm encouraged nevertheless.

PS: my 8 year old is a Giant Fan and our wager is 87 cents and having to wear a Giant Team T-Shirt to work should the Angels lose.

GO BIG RED STORM!!!!!

Ahhh, leave it to our offspring to put us in our places. His last team in Little League was the Giants. Before that the Angels, so he roots for either team every other game. I'll try and post that pic IF I lose.

Had an opportunity to go to Saturday's game here, but $400/tickect was too steep for me. Yes, I know there going for more on E-Bay.

I'm still cheering for a (dare I say) a a Red Rally!!! Go Halos!!
