Yeah.....I was lucky enough to have a brother with connections to the Giant's office....so got my ticket at face value......couldn't afford to be a scalper ticket.....or I'd be in Anaheim tomorrow....since your boys pulled out a miracle tonight!

Miracle or not...it was an exciting comeback and seemingly devastating to your club. AND NOW.... I bask in the sheer joy of knowing that the Angels came through and won in amazing fashion at home!! I knew this team would pull it out and am so glad having been put through soooooo many disappointments. Let's all raise a frosty mug of Samuel Adams to the Giants who fought valiantly. And more importantly, give a Rally Monkey cheer to the team that started out 6-14, only to win 99 games and sweep through the Yankees, the Twins, and barely win against the team from NoCal!!!!

Yeah.....Sat was devastating. Ever since then I didn't have much hope.....especially since it seemed like nothing has been going right in my life since then.....kinda wierd....like our karma is connected or something......today is not better either! Hopefully we'll get over it!
Sat we beat ourselves in my opinion.....Dusty made some poor choices.....and the team let up....but Sunday....your team beat us(with the help of more poor choices by Dusty). I give them props and I'm glad Glaus got the MVP....he had my vote.
I'll pass on the Sam Adams though......gimme a Smirnoff Ice!

ShayShay, R U OK? whas up? Never read any of your posts sounding so low. Dusty's poorest choice: putting a 3 year old and allowing other minors in the dugout. Thank God for JT Snow pulling Darren off of home plate. The parade here was outrageous. My beef: freeway stoppage during morning traffic..and I had an appointment in LA!
Glad too see a Giant fan acknowledging good baseball. Statistically wise, Bonds deserved the MVP. Truthfully, many Halos contributed in sooooooo many ways. Glaus stood out just a bit more. Oh, and my 8 y/o son owes me 87 cents, plus his 3rd grade class had a Red 7-UP and red popcorn party to celebrate yesterday. His teach is a ticket season holder X20+ years. The anti-climatic response now is to root for the Lakers since B-ball season begins. I do business trips in Sacramento alot and take alot from that cityfolk. Later.

That transparent huh.....sorry......depression is an ugly monster when it rears it's head.....and it happens all too often for me! I'm tryin to pull myself up again though.....doing a little better. Woulda helped if I got to see you wearing a Giants shirt though!
You gotta admit Dusty's lil son was cute though. It was definitely a scary moment though....very lucky J.T. was on it!
Don't tell me you're a Lakers fan too.....ughz.......I deal with my co-worker that likes them too. I don't really have a favorite team....but since the Warriors suck(doing better so far though)....I guess I'd have to pick Sac. I get sick of the primadonna Lakers....and feel they have unfair advantages.
What about hockey? You a Kings fan?
Well, got some stuff to do....just thought I'd better respond before you think I've dropped off the face of the earth!

Laters,
"happens all too often for me!" ?? Hope your Halloween gave you glimpses of tricks or treats. I'll wear a Giants logo shirt if that will cheer you up. Maybe this will cheer you up - My 8 y/o son was interviewed by the LA Times in his 3rd grade class in anticipation of the Angels sweeping through the playoffs. (His teacher is a Halo fanatic and decorates the classroom walls with pics and stuff). Well, my son's wearing his Little League Angel's shirt and the interviewer asks him: "Who's your favorite team? expecting him to say Anaheim. Without flinching or hesitation, my son says proudly, "The San Francisco Giants!!" Seems he didn't want to hurt his old man's feelings by saying otherwise. My wife was in the classroom and conveyed this story too me. Later that night I asked him to inquire what my favorite team was AND to his surprise I proclaimed: The San Francisco Giants!! Nothing like keeping your kids happy w/o feeling like they have to live up to their parent's ideals, values, or standards. The moral of the story: Don't take life too seriously, focus on the more important things, like relationships and family.

Darren was cute, although it was heartbreaking to see him weep.

Sorry, Laker fan since the early 70's in the days when they were losers with Kareem, Gale Goodrich, and Connie Hawkins, etc. Their championship runs in the 80's and more recently have shown you that "you get what you pay for" + a lot of luck....
Hockey: Kings - PLEASE, NO!! They haven't been anywhere good since the days of Rogie Vachon, Butch Goring and/or Marcel Dionne. The Great One was a glimmer in the 90's. And, I'm not a big Ducks fan, although my kids are..... I plead the 5th.

Hang in there!!! LOL
