Gm Engineers You Suck!!!!!!
UG...this has been one of the more crappier days
got a phone call from the gard hut at my work saying that my car alarm is going off...i'm like F[]ck must have left my lights on (my car alarm will go off if the battery is dead or disconected). Well sure enough when i get to my car and open it the lights are on and the car alarm is going off...well i disable the siren and turn the lights off and go back inside, and ask my co-worker to giive me a boost with his RSX at lunch....well mid morning he has to take off on an emergency call. Well no biggy i'll just use one of are shop vans to boost my car (the chevy venture). well at lunch time i grab the van park it next to my car and open the hood of the van.....
this is where i discover that the fuse box on the van sites directly on top of the battery and both battery terminals are not accessable!!!!!! you would have to be a GM mechanic and spend 15 minutes just to get to the battery!!!!!!
thankyou GM engineers for being so stupid!!!!!!!!

No but almost all of the later GM cars where the battery is stuffed away is setup this way. You should be able to follow part of the positive battery cable up to the distribution block where it is connected. There will be a red cap at that connection point and a post under it. For the ground side, just connect the cable to any major metal bracket in the engine compartment.
