Of note, most of the Canadian team plays for American NHL teams, and gets paid in American $$$. (Of course, the same can be said for most of the other teams in the Olympics.)

Congratulations on the win, Canada friends... I'm happy with the silver considering hockey is pretty much a joke here in the states. Sure, some people like it, but it's not as popular as most professional sports around here. I think I would have felt bad if we would have won!!!
