I really like this game IMO. I played a demo of Forza at the game store where I picked this up at, but thought that the driving characteristics were too arcade-ish for my believing. I think that the driving models in this game are very accurate to a real life senario. My only dissapointment comes from the lack of "damage," but from what my understanding was, that was because some of the manufacturers who licenced the use of the car's names wouldn't release the use of damage. I guess Sony and all them said as it came to damage, it was all or nothing. I can overlook it....
Here ya go for the pics:
...okay so I photoshopped the last pic... can you blame me?
BTW, I have the large originals for anyone who wants them for a backround or whatnot... Just PM me if you want 'em

with the amount of r&d that went into this game, (i'm assuming this is why it took 419 years to come out) you would think that it would be virtually mistake/bug free. Why is this not the case? what's with the screen shake syndrome? and what f'n retard edited the instruction booklet? some of the stuff in there isn't even for the US version of the game!!!
and don't even get me started on who thought it was a good idea to use a light grey font on white paper!! what the hell are the red arrows at the bottom in b-spec mode? why is the course info for Suzuka west come up as "CRSinfo/suzwest.pft" ??? why does "Cr: 150,000" take the computer 4 minutes to type as if they were using an oldshcool manual typewriter?
what protege came with the mp3 bumpers and skirts but no wing in those colors?? where is the 96 vette grand sport? why is the last passing mission impossible? who paved the outside of the underpass turns at Midfield?
what's the purpose of the fuel guage? ( i understand that as you drive you do actually use fuel, but you get like 150 miles per tank and you have to pit for tires every f'n 40!) also, must it load each and every time you go from one screen to the next. and the stupid 100,000cr transfer limit! apparently doing well in a preceding game and using that to your advantage is cheating. it's not like it's tough to get money or anything, so what's the deal? does someone actually just want me to have to waste time doing the 1000mile series over and over on b-spec mode? (wow, is that an easy million cr.!!!!!)
i wonder how much i can sell this toyota marathon car for? oh wait... ZERO f'n dollars! *middle finger smiley* i guess i'll just use in in some races... oh wait.... NO racing in this car!!! wtf is that! at least throw in a "ghey car cup" so it and the nike car aren't complete wastes of time. and if i have to drive ONE MORE slowass car around the f'n Nurburgring i'm going to shoot someone! (Last Lap: 14:09.751... vomit!)
boy, i hope i win a good car from this rotary series... (drumroll...) YES! a 67 110s!

Dudeondacouch, that was hilarious! Though I don't have the game, I understand your frustration. Just like the Miata only Apricot Hill endurance race (was it Apricot Hill?) and the Miata had to be stock. Oh gag.
I remember fondly getting through the crazy intense Formula Series (fun, but very hard and looooooong) thinking I'd win at least an F094S or something, and what do I get? The very car I was racing with (only black): an F090. That was disappointing. But oh well...

Don't get me wrong, I'm a GT addict. Been hooked since the first one. I was just ranting on the stuff that bugs me.
Gran Turismo 2, Midfield Reverse, Cusco Impreza... 1:01.510
Beat that time and you get a prize!

Sorry, I wasn't questioning your loyalty. I've only had GT3, and that game (never mind GT4 right now since I haven't played it) is still the best racer game in my mind, just with the tunablilty and variety of cars.
Though I think there should be a lot more pure street courses (like suburbs we know of or live around. I bet we could all make a course of roads that we think would make a great loop where we live). NFSU got close, but that's cities and night. NFSU2 is better with the Jackson heights deal, though drifting with slow cars is reeeeally hard (my Trueno only had like 164 or so hp....not enough to string drifts well).
I think one of the only real beefs with GT3 is that the raced up exaust notes of many cars (save the Z06, that's a nice one with the straight pipes) are not menacing, but more muffled. Snoooze, I want some growl! The Acura CL Type-Ss sound great stock (in real life too when you punch it), but race exhausted are tamed...too bad.

The sounds in GT4 are much better. I was soo happy when I started playing and you actually get different engine sounds and growls. A V12 Vanquish sounds like a V12, where the Ford Lightning sounds like a beefed up truck... it's cool.
The Street courses on GT4 are better too. You can run through New York City, Soeul, Hong Kong, and a bunch more places. I can't wait to get the LAN set up with my friends so we can have a 6 player battle!
