Harry Potter- Chamber of Secrets?

I thought it was a pretty good movie. I probably wouldn't have had any interest if it wasn't for my 6 year old...but, I was rather impressed. One of the better movies I have seen this year. It was 2:45 minutes and not a slow one in the bunch. The story progressed continually, keeping the interest level up. All in all, I'd say its worth seeing.

As my 900th post, I'm going to be honest. I've read all the HP books. Yep. My parents (and younger sister) bothered me until I read them last year around this time. Needless to say, I love the books, they're great. Yep, they're 'kids' books, but they are highly entertaining for older audiences as well. Don't knock it unless you've read them.
I decided to read the books before I saw the first movie. I was totally in love with the books, and then watched the first movie. It was good, yes, but the book was still much better.
I took my little sister to see HP: chamber of secrets on friday. All I can say is wow. The movie was so much better than I could have expected, much much better than the movie from last year. If I could, I'd defiantely go back and see it again, it was that good. I can't wait until the next movie, it happened to be my favorite book in the series so far.
If you didn't like the first movie, don't bother with this one.... If you liked the first movie, you will absolutely love this one, I can't say enough about it. If you haven't seen the first movie or haven't read the books, I'd at least watch the first movie ahead of time to get some better background info on what's going on.

i didn't care too much for this movie. it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. maybe the first one was such a surprise that i thought this would be even waaay better, but i found it to be somewhat anti-climatic. not worth a "opening" nite viewing...
but it was okay. altho i found it to be a little irritating at times, all in all it was a decent movie. waiting now for star trek and lord of the rings to come out...

Thought it was merely "ok". I felt the movie was a tad long and some of the acting just seemed too fake to me. Especially that red-haired boy(sorry forget his name)....everytime he'd show emotion it was so overdone.
I'm really looking forward to the next installment of Lord of the Rings in about a month.

Speaking of LOTR and Harry Potter, since Richard Harris died, I think Gandalf from LOTR should be dumbledor (I thought they were the same person anyways), and Strider (From LOTR) should be Sirius Black, and the Ring rays or whatever those guys are called should be the Dementors.... That would be perfect!
