How Long Do You Stay on AIM? How Many Buddies?
I just found some people around me that have their lives replaced by AIM. They stay on 24 hours, and have 200 buddies. Well... I stay on.. 24 hours... hmm...
So.. just curious...
How many hours do you stay on AIM?
How many active buddies do you have on your list?

I stay on all the time... Have around 50 buddies on my list, talk to about 10 of them on a regular basis... I leave it on all the time, because I always have people leaving messages for me when I'm not there... Nice and convinient

I think AIM needs to do what ICQ does, where it allows people to send messages to people that are offline, and the recipient will pick up the messages later when he logs on.
that's one feature i miss about ICQ...

I am signed on an off throughout the day as I move through school from class to class and then onto work. I would say 5-6 hrs per day.
Currently have 148 buddies, but I only talk to like 10 people. AIM is a waste of time usually. I talk to my buddies who are in other classes at the same time as me. WiFi pwnz.

I am online from time to time, I have two different screen names that I use, one is publicly know the other is on the low ...
I speak on the norm to DaDragon(theMan),GroHarlem(Wil)werd,Pinonoy(<ithin k)(Patrick),Torpedo,Fourdoorprotege, and ProtegeMenageand a few others who's names I don't remeber of the back...
AIM is sweet cause I can do file transfers and file sharing with my buddies.
It's a great way to keep in contact and share movies and so forth...

I'm on all the time (Cable 24/7, same handle) but I only really talk to people late at night or during lunch. I have a long list but I only talk to 3 or 4 people on a regular basis. Most of my friends are broke and can't even afford a damn computer, let alone one made in the last century.

I'm on mostly AT NIGHT! I might be signed on other times but I'm not always there. My computer is usually running things or compiling or running a test server or whatever.
My AIM s/n is in my profile. I actually prefer to use MSN but for that contact list I like to keep it smaller.
Right now I have 112 but I'd say that at least 30 of them aren't even valid anymore. Oh well
