You mean overclocking...

Did it on my old AMD 350 K6 chip...was able to squeez out an additional 30mhz...(tried to squeez out 50mhz, but the computer crashed to much)...but this was on an old AT computer that I had...

Oh...on video game systems

Atari 64
8 bit nintendo
Super Nintendo
Sega Gensis (burned it out)
Neo Geo (traded to a pawn shop)
Playstation
Playstation 2
Xbox

Has anyone tried the watercooled set up...(I think Koolance is the vendor)

Yes OverClocking.

I was going to building my own water cooling rig, but decided the expense just wasn't worth it...nor the hassle. I've pretty much given up on the quest for a bad *** computer. Hell I've had my current machine in pretty much the same configuration for over a year (with the exception of the video card), and I barely use it as it is.

Okay so I am an engineer and on my machine a lot during the day so does that count for any geekness?

Hey Jay you know reading that list was getting me excited . You know like the Tim the Tool Man Taylor, Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho. I actually know what most of that list means so that must count for something.

So true. I run my towers either w/ one panel off or no screws for easy accessibility. LOL

I work at a helpdesk for a company in Calgary(canada). We support a number of large oil companies and a few american chemical and industrial companies as well. Used to be a total geek in my high school days. Had my own ftp warez site going even on a 33.6k dial up modem. I turn it on between midnight and turn it off after i get up to goto school...LOL. Dabbed a little in basic, vb, turbo pascal and a little DOS scriptiing. I'd rather do desktop support. Also have experience in intermediate networking in Windows and Novell 4.11. Avid HalfLife and TFC online player, as well as quake 3. No RPG's and RTS's. I also dabble into a little 3d studio Max for animations and I love video editing w/ Adobe Premiere (biking videos). Yep, I spend 12 hours on the computer at work but only work 14 days out of the month plus get a week off every month, and barely any stress on the job. I'm loving it right now. Could use a raise though.

i'm a jack of all trades and a master of none.
i can build a computer, which i'm doing right now actually, but a computer geek? i would never have the audacity to claim i am.
i know my way around one tho.
