How much is your insurance?
#76
24-F, Toronto (being in the city, you pay more), No accidents, no prior claims, no tickets, nothing. First time being insured in my own name (rather than under my parents). Paying $192/monthly over 12 months with The Personal. I have the deluxe package, it includes everything.. they say it's mandatory because I have a new car.
To me, it sounds expensive... but it was the cheapest I could get.

When I first got my car it was 1200, now its over 1600. 2 15% increases in as many years. Insurance companies suck.
Stocker.

Was paying 950/6mo thru Progressive Michigan, then found out that I could still claim to live at home since I'm still in college, so I now pay 636/6mo thru State Farm Ohio (for more coverage).
By comparison, State Farm Michigan quoted 1900/6mo and I pay 1000/YEAR thru on my parents policy for my 99 Grand Am.
Also, I got a benefit notice saying that I had group discounts as a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, but the best Michigan policy I could get was 2500/6mo.
Yikes!

23/M - Single
No Tickets/No Accidents
'03 Protege5 Auto Tranny/leather/abs/side impact
Full coverage with 500k limits.
$500 deductible collison
$250 Deductible other
I get discounts for Lo-Jack, Passive Anti-theft, Good Driver, ABS, Airbags.
$1,621.00 Annually = $162 month in 10 monthly payments (if paid in 12 payments would be $135)
My high amount of annual miles driven and my 70 mile round trip commute 5 days a week is what is really killing me right now, where I live, and the fact that I am not 25 yet.
