I've been playing a lot of Nintnedo DS lately (ultimate spiderman, Castlevania, nanostray) and I buy these games for $40 a pop and when I go to trade them in they only wanna give me $8-10 a piece for them?? What a rip off. I listed them on ebay last night and already sold 1 for $25. The other's I've listed have sold in less than 3 days at "buy-it-now" price....all over $20. Even at $25 these prices are a steal because I keep them in mint condish. So I price them a little lower and they sell instantly....and I go buy another game.

I think my next game purchase will be "Into the Blue" or "Phantom Trace"

 

Ebays become great for sellers terrible for buyers. There was a time when it was filled with good deals now I can go to the store and buy stuff for much cheaper. Most of thouse guys will bid on anything, there rabid.

They have celerson processors used for $100 while you can easily get them for $50 new. Theres always some 30 bids on them too. I just bought a psone screen for $32 new while ebay has them easily selling for $50 used. Who is buying these things?

I have to say though gamestop is a terrible rip off when it comes to selling back your games.

 

yeah, the stores give next to nothing...less than pawn shop prices. I've made so much extra money on ebay selling off my old video games and stuff. I had some old music cd's (video game soundtracks) and they sold for $25 on ebay in 1 day. I'm just going to auction off my office/game room and see how much I can get!

i thought about it but I dont ever rent games....i just read reviews and buy them if they score high enough.

 

i was just thinking if you have a high turnover rate - you can actually keep the games as long as you want (@ least to you beat them)

 

now's the time of year to beef up your ebay sales. holiday season is mad with frenzy bidders and long lines at the post office. i'll probably be selling me old speakers & 1 or 2 things before the holiday rush makes everything too hectic to deal with.

good point!! I'm an ebay ***** now....I'm going to list everything I own for sale with a reserve of $100K....see if I'm worth that.

I have a kidney that I'm not using....i don't drink so it's nice and clean...
