I need a mitsubishi forum. Bought the wife one today.
My son totaled the Grand Am on the way to the beach Saturday. My wife and I saw it all in the rear view mirror. He's okay though so I'm glad he wasn't driving my P5.
Soooo, I spent all day (100 degree day) today screwing with car salesmen. Did good though, got a fully loaded-every option I know-Galant with a 24 valve V6. It hauls *** too, I can spin them with ease from a standing stop even with an automatic. Shifts very snappy too.
Really cool, but I don't know **** about Mitsubishi except that they made Zeros during WWII. Thus, my question; anyone know of a Galant or Mitsu forum?
Thanks

If I find a decent forum I guess I'll find out what's so bad about them

valve stem seals.....they start going out around 75K miles and you'll need a complete head rebuild by 90K.
We (mitsu techs) live for 90K mile cars....everyone one of them smoke and need heads rebuilt. It's how we made so much money!
I highly suggest you just stay up on all scheduled maintaince and if you're wrench-friendly, do it all yourself. The dealer will rape you on stuff that is very easy to do. One good thing about Mitsu's is how easy they are to work on.
