Illegal?
okay so I took my car into the shop to get a state inspection sticker... and I guess this really pertains to my state but it should be the same..
anywho I had a decal about the size of softball for this car club im in.... it was on the passenger side of the windsheild all the way to the top and all the way to the side... It was clearly out of the drivers view... I barely notice it... but when I went to pick up my car I noticed it was gone. They had scraped it off ... Im just curious if it is illegal to have it there b/c if not im gonna go get a new one

In VA, the only stickers allowed on the windsheild are the license sticker and the inspection sticker. Having those two stickers on my windshield totally annoyed me when I lived there. Typical VA for ya, heh.
BTW, I grew up in Henrico, just west of Richmond, til I was 18.

Facist state inspections!
$90 for a PA inspection. You will usually get the call from the mechanic that will "recomend" that you need parts X,Y, and Z. My girlfriend will get this everytime she takes her car in and it's a 2000 Rav-4 in perfect condition. I used to live in NJ where it used to be "free"and you had to wait in line for half of your life at the state inspection station.

Well, in Cali (maybe most states) it is illegal to have a decal "impeding" your view, no matter how big or small it may be. The top visor of the windsheild is ok but not below it unless it's an official decal (parking, beach, state park etc) but still must be placed sensibly.
I was once pulled over for my single wiper and it was "impeding" my view....so it can be interpreted in many ways.
