I'm back! (like you care!)
So, after two months away I am home. Just before I left, I was unable to connect with the site. I just sat here for a bit doing a search and found you guys again. I missed the name change thing. I am just glad this site didn't disappear, I have found much good info and would have hated to lose that. Especially since my car is running badly right now!!

Youse guys are all da bomb. I have to tell you, it made my day finding out the forum hadn't disappeared. When I first couldn't find it, all I could think was someone from the other forum who had it in for Roddimus had nuked the site. Hey, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you!
Thanks for your help Roddimus. I posted about my problem under Kraziyfox's (sp)Rough Idle Situation in the General Discussion forum. I was hoping for a quick fix today, but no luck. I had originally put the car in storage with Stabil in the gas tank, but due to personal things (long story) I got it out in case my girlfriend needed it. I have never had trouble using Stabil before, so I doubt that is the problem, but who knows? Right now I am going to run the tank down and refill to see if that clears the problem.

I am a merchant seaman (go ahead, I'll wait for all the jokes) so I was out to sea working. I had a steady job for the last four years that I lost due to the company deciding to use foreign crews. So it was back to the union hall. I just spent the last two months sweating various parts of my body off (average temp in the engine room on this ship was 100 degrees, high was around 126) on a products tanker carrying gas and diesel from either Texas or the Mississippi River to several ports in Florida. There was a big demand after Hurricane Dennis, everyone heading out to safety used up a lot of fuel!
I can feel all the love, and I must say I greatly appreciate it. Kind of like you appreciate a communicable disease!! JOKE just in case anyone gets offended, or whatever.
