Initial D Trueno
Well it took me all of yesterday and this morning to finish this model car...all in all I think it turned out ok...not my best, oh well, this is my tribute to Initial D and for the many hours of entertainment it has provided me...let me know what you think of my Scale Model Building skills BTW I did all of the painting myself, the body came in white and I had to paint in the black areas...other than that, everything in the kit was repainted except for the rims and tires...

cool cool man, looks really good.
u did a good job, and it looks really precise if u ask me, man i love initial D, i've got every episode, and every movie, love watching it....
makes me want my FC so much more, man i really want my FC... hehe, it would be cool...
well almost any RWD car right now would be cool, but then again, not all RWD cars are made for drifting hehe, but oh well.... it'll styll be cool
a 240 would be the best to do drifts which look like the ones on initial d, but we all know those drifts are a little over exagerated, like u don't get the best speed from drifts like that.
but i styll want my FC hehe
but i styll appluad u on the good job, the detail is all there and very good too

Has Takumi raced the Sileighty yet? His friend that was going to hook up with the driver chick screws himself over as she wanted him...ahhh its funny how he missed out cuz hes so damn stupid!!! As for his other friend...hahaha hes just stupid...I think at the beginning of one episode, he skips out to meet Takumi sticking his hand out like he was safety boy or something, and then he fingers him hahaha...ahhhh Jap animators made him the biggest loser EVAR!!!
Oh and here are some pics of I think the best model I've made to date...its a Tamiya RX-7 R-1 kit, with Veilside Andrews Rims and a spoiler from a S14...also a CF hood, custom interior with subs out back and custom engine bay...

I got my models at my local shop and from HK. As for painting the bottom, mask it off like you used to, and before you paint, find something that will push the tape tight against the body. Blue painters tape is the best to use. As for clear coat, I wouldn't use it as it increases the chance for orange peel and other crap. I would use a good can of Tamiya or even Painters Touch Gloss Black Spray Paint. Hand painting also increases your chance of getting crap underneath the tape. And spray it in coats, leaving about 2-5 mins between coats...do about 10, each one being very very light. Hope this helps...
