Just woke up from a dream...
and it was so bizarre, i'm just going to tell you what happened in that dream just before i woke up:
I was standing in a dark hall, wearing wide 70s dancing clothing and a shining golden headband, feeling some nice rythm and sang "Won't you take me to..."... out of the dark suddenly a group of 4 groovy and shiny dancers (2 males, 2 females appeared), dancing towards me in a snake like way, swirling their bodies, answereing my singing with a loud "Funkytoooooownnnnn"...
The very last thing I remember is that I joined the dancing group at the front and from an ego-perspective i could see my golden glittering sleeves, twirling at my arm with me clapping in my hands, making my way into the dark....
then the alarm clock ran... i'm still out of words, we'll discuss that later on

I rarely remember the dreams I've had in the mornng, but sometimes when I get awakened in the middle of a particularly vivid dream, it takes more than a few seconds to realize it wasn't real.
It's a very strange sensation.

hahaha
You know what they say, dreams are the expresion of your brain of hidden desires you cant fulfill on real life.... or, just that you saw "satuday night fever" last night before gointo to bed
I once dreamed i was been chased by giant scorpions and spiders in the jungle, and then thru the city and they were eating people and trashing buildings and well very realistic...
Goddamn you Discovery Channel !!!!

I can't tell you how many times i've had dreams about spiders/snakes/ killer crabs falling from the ceiling into my bed.. but i dont realise it's a dream till i've run out of my room and into the hallway.

I've had dreams where days later I could've sworn it actually happened....
I remember one dream when I was younger, I was rolling down a big, endless grass hill. Being a kid, I love that kinda thing. So I'm rolling and rolling, then I wake up and rolled right out of bed! I'll never forget it, lol.

So does everyone see themselves in third person or first person in their dreams? I always actually see myself like I'm lookin out of someone else's eyes, but most people say they only see like their hands and stuff, like first person view.

both
I tend to "change cameras" some are FPV and some are "some one elses eyes" in the same dream, there are books entirely on the subject, if you like to remember more of the dream:
1) Dont use an alarm clock except when you really need it ( if you are going to bed way pass your bed time) to avoid the need of one, before you go to sleep say to yourself "I need you to wakeme up at 6:00" it takes some practice but it works, im not kiding it really does, it takes some practice so you might need to use your clock as a safety net, say 6:20
2) DONT MOVE! when you start moving yo loose contact with the "dream world" and start realising you are in you bed in you room, not in an Oasis in the middle of the desert sourronuded by beautiful chicks, and you forget some details, take a minute or to, just open your eyes, and remember your dream
3) Write it down, keep a small notebook on a drawer by your bed, and write down the basics, ( me desert, oasis chicks, pool, space invaders, saved the world ) when you have time you can read it back and remeber it better
4) Too Much TV? dont abuse the TV hours, is easier just to stare at TV than think, so your brain gets rusty, read a book, use the calculator for big numbers only, you'll have a healtier, more active Brain that way. See if you can survive a week only watching the evening news
Killer Crabs? from the ceiling? those are the worst kind, those bastards!

I find that, at least with some of the dreams that I have that take place in an actual setting (meaning it's not some one scene super close up snippet of imagination)--perhaps inspired by where I've been/grown up--all the settings seem able to connect with each other in some way. Kinda like uncovering the terrain beneath the cloud layer in Command and Conquer Red Alert (ya, way back), for those who remember playing that game. Last night was another addition to it, very vivid...dang, I wish I could get a replay.
