I thought the newer Altimas were supposed to be fast?

I had one today, punch it @ ~20mph, caught back up with him by 55mph or so...

it was a altima 2.5 S

i figured i wouldnt catch 'em but i did, then had to turn & go to work

 

I think the ones to look out for are the 3.5 V6 models. Aren't the 2.5s 4 bangers? Still a good kill. A lot of the people driving those cars believe the commercials and think they are something special. Not that any of us are any different!!

 

... esp when he started it... haha.. wasnt "ready" to race... i just floored it AFTER he did..

 

2.5 makes like 160bhp in the altima...maybe a little less. The 2.5 to watch out for is in the spec-v R....

i got my butt handed to me by a altima SE-r.....it has less power but it's an NA v6 and much easier to make it go fast. The damn power delivery on that MS6 is so shitty compared to the VQ 3.5Ls....

nothing a good EMS won't fix though.

bah....I love handing it to 350z's and G35 coupes....butt loads of torque and good driver mod...

I'd love to get a shot at a MS6 though

 

I consistantly take out the older 260bhp mustangs. Especially from a roll. I'm a horrible launcher....a mustang makes anyone look good from a dig!
