...Is if in the same city, there happened to be three guys, one with a 90-93 Pro, another with a 91-96 EGT, and the last with a 91-96 Merc Tracer LTS. They all had black paint jobs, low profile spoiler, no gay-*** clear corners or strobes nor the stupid f'n washer nossle lights, </step off soapbox and resume rant> stock rims or not too flashy rims. Otherwise all sleepers.
I don't know, but I think that would be pretty sweet to see. I was reading a post and thought that would rock.
Ya know... Sitting at one of the tables at In-'n-Out eating, and you see these three cars crusing down the road, or better yet, they pull in to grab something to eat right at the place you're eating.

WTF is wrong with you??? Whats wrong with clear corners? You know how many people want clear corners for their car so it wont look "gay-***."

Clear corners are gay based on the sole fact that it limits the ability of other drivers to tell whether or not the given person is making a turn. ...Durning day and at night. "Why?" you may ask. There was a particular reason that the car manufacturer made turn signals a different color. They made them a different color so other people driving could distinguish between the headlights and the turn signals and go "Oh. Okay. That person is trying/wants to turn." Being aware of what other people on the road are trying/going to do limits accidents.


Now, to cover something else. 90% of the people I see with clear corners don't even USE their ******* blinkers. ...Especially on the freeway.
I despise stupid drivers. I really do. Lately, the last few days, they've been really pissing me off.
So, I'm all for people doing the right thing, including having the stock turn singal lenses so that other people know what you're trying/going to do and USING them.

Like someone pointed out, you missed a key issue--I was talking about sleeper cars. People with sleeper cars do not go buy clear corners to signify that they have a different car from others on the road, which is what most of the people with clear corners are trying to do "I'm different! I'm different! Look at me!" Ooooooo. Special. Have a cookie.

Like RealityX said, it's my opinion. If you don't like it, well, you can go in the corner and cry about it, then. :P

 

Yeah. The Mazda with the BPT, Merc with the V6, and the EGT with the NA built engine. Dude. That would rock.

 

I have nothing against people who have clear corners, but I get ******* pissed off whenever someone doesn't use their blinker,
like you said, especially on the highway.....

My friend actualy just lost his licence for not using his turn signal. Some girl cop pulled him over and was all Ohhhhhh you're only 16. She gave him a $40 fine and he lost the liscence for 20 days, and there werent even any cars around him.

No you guys took it the wrong way. Im not trying to start anything. It's just the way I talk and if you talk to me in person you'll understand that I dont yell but have friendly conversations using those words sometimes.

You said that you cant see them??? That is why it is required by law that you put amber balbs in. Plus you do easly see them with amber lights.

People not using their blinkers...Doesnt have a barn thing to do with clear corners. Plus those people that pissed you off were probably in front of you or something and even if they did have their blinker on you would still not see there front clear or OEM corners.

That is why all cars come with amber corners??? YOU ARE SO WRONG. All the more expensive cars come with them, and all euro, and japanese cars have them. I can name so many cars that come with clear corners in their stock form.

LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME?? I would put them on for looks, because I like it when my car looks good. If you dont care how your car looks, then you are full of BS. Why not drive around on a car that drives good, but has big *** dents, mud, dirt all over?? Im sure you wash your car so it LOOKS better.

Yet, how many people actually put amber bulbs in with the clear corners? None. Majority of the people I see with clear corners have either those stupid *** blue filtered lights that pretend to be xeon lights in a smaller package, or they use plain white bulbs, more so of the former. To be honest, I haven't see one car with clear corners even have amber bulbs.




You missed my point. Say you're driving down the road, you're coming up on an intersection, a car in the opposing traffic is sitting in the left turn lane, and you can only make out that he's just sitting there. You slow down weary of him possibly turning in front of you or doing something stupid. You only come to find out that he was waiting to turn left, and that, indeed, he had his blinker on, but you couldn't tell for **** that he did have them on. He had clear corners, and he had the wannabe-xeon bulbs in there, too. You couldn't see that something was blinking, because the headlights drowned out the blue-filtered light (which happens to be emitting less light than any other bulb). If he had normal amber lenses for the turn signals, you could have seen that he wanted to make a left turn because of the different yellow light blinking. You missed my point entirely.
If you want to use clear corners with amber bulbs, then, sure, go ahead. I could care less. What I said originally was in opposition to those whom use clear corners and wannabe-xeon/white bulbs.

RealityX already posted pictures of "expensive" cars that use amber lenses. I have yet to see any expensive and/or european car, stock, with clear corners. You, sir, are invalid.

Actually, I do care what my car looks like, and it looks pretty damn good with stock turn singal lenses. See, I seek to have functionality in my car. You only seek to imitate others. That is what is sad. Why don't you think more about what you are going to say and what others have said before you say someone is full of BS.
